Wondering what to do tonight? Or, the night after that? Or after that? Look no further. We’ve compiled a list of places to give your vacation the kickstart it needs to have a fabulous night out or 11. Here’s a tour of after-dark places not miss in Breck.
We’ll start with apres-ski slopeside and then work our way down to town from the North end of Main Street to the South side. It’s the Breck Ultimate Pub Crawl. But, pace yourself. It’ll take 11 nights to hit up our recommendations for the best 11 bars in Breck. Get ready, be safe, know your limits and learn how to go car-free in Breckenridge.
Night 1. Bar Number 1.
The T-Bar / Peak 8 / One Ski Hill Place, Breckenridge Ski Resort
Why come to Breckenridge? If you’re like most, you’ll hit up the slopes first and then be ready for apres. The best spot? The T-Bar, the actual bar, not the T-Bar lift that takes you up to the high-alpine terrain of Horseshoe Bowl, is located at the base of Peak 8 with the best views of The Ten Mile Range. Grab a seat at the bar or soak up some rays on their patio for THE après spot to kick your vacation into gear. Hey, you might even meet someone to share your on-hill shenanigans.
Night 2. Bar Number 2.
The Gold Pan Saloon / 103 North Main Street
Known for having the oldest liquor license west of the Mississippi, this gem gives you the feeling of the old west. You can just imagine these doors swinging open and the miners strolling in after a long day of digging for gold. Dust off your dancing shoes, the Gold Pan has a DJ most weekends where you can really boogie down. And don’t forget to test your skills at the ring toss.
Night 3. Bar 3.
Napper Tandy’s / 110 Lincoln Avenue
Located above the Salt Creek Restaurant, Napper Tandy’s is an Irish-themed joint with plenty to do. If you’re a gamer, this is the place. Napper Tandy’s offers pool tables, foosball, darts, and of course plenty of TV’s to watch your favorite sporting events. And the bartenders don’t lack in their pouring skills. If you happen to be here when the Six Million Dollar Band is in town make sure to bring your 80’s gear and have a most tubular time.
Night 4. Bar Number 4.
The Motherloaded Tavern / 103 South Main Street
With two bars, the Kitty and the infamous Julius Ceasar lounge, this bar is sure to wet your whistle. Known for its house infused liquor selection, the MLT, will not let you down with a wide variety of booze to choose from. If you happen to be lucky enough to get yours truly as your bartender, say the secret password (FRIED TWINKIE, yes the MLT serves those) and I will give you a tsunami of your choice. The Motherloaded Tavern also features Trivia on Tuesdays and live music every Friday and Saturday nights.
Night 5. Bar 5.
Modis / 113 South Main Street
Looking for a place that has an extensive wine selection and some really
crafty cocktails, look no further. Serving up delicious libations dating back as far as the 1800’s, this place and its mixologists have really done their research. With fun names such as the Papa Doble, Whose Got The Thyme, and the bourbon winning Moose Knuckle Punch you are sure to find something to make your taste buds throw a dance party. And an added bonus…Modis offers two happy hours daily!
Night 6. Bar 6.
Rita’s / 301 South Main Street
Located downstairs from Kenosha steakhouse, Rita’s serves up some killer tacos and freshly squeezed margaritas. Rita’s offers a wide range of tequilas and definitely has an atmosphere that is sure to make you feel like a local. Test out your skills on Thursdays with Trivia hosted by Reed.
Night 7. Bar 7.
Ollie’s Pub and Grub / 401 South Main Street
With two locations, one in Frisco and one in Breckenridge, this locals’ favorite ‘watering hole’ has a great menu, an awesome beer selection, and plenty of TV’s to fulfill your sporting needs. Ollie’s feature board has specials every day of the week. Challenge your friends at buck hunter or show off your skills at the punching game.

Brooklyn’s Tavern and Billiards / 500 South Main Street
Looking for a place to play pool and get away from the crowds? Some call it the hidden gem of the south side. Brooklyn’s has four full sized pool tables and one billiards table. They also offer a chance to show your soccer skills on the ‘foos’ ball table. Make sure to check out the New York skyline mural on the bar top.

Burke and Reilly’s Irish Pub / 520 South Main Street
Located upstairs in La Cima Mall come get a taste of Ireland with Guinness on tap and a never ending supply of Car Bombs. The views from upstairs aren’t too bad either. Take in the Tenmile range on their patio while keeping warm next to the fire pit. Have the munchies? They serve their menu late! Yummmm…Chicken Fingers!
Night 10. Bar 10.
Cecelia’s Apres Ski Night Club / 520 South Main Street
Got the itch to dance? Step inside Cecelia’s, they’ve got the largest dance floor in Breck. With DJ’s nightly, you’re sure to get your swerve on. You may even get a glimpse of owner Jeff Cox, spinning his favorite beats. With three different bars, a walk-in humidor, cozy lounge area, and some fun fancy lighting this place is sure to get you your late night fix. Don’t forget to check out the infamous dance pole.
Night 11. Bar 11.
Liquid Lounge / 520 South Main Street
A great local hangout with great specials every day of the week. Here’s a sneak peak at what you can get…with Ladies Night on Mondays, Wu-tang/Whiskey Wednesdays, Thirsty free keg Thursdays, and don’t forget Midnight Mass on Sundays there’s something for everyone. Show your appreciation for your bartenders and hear the mighty sound of the gong located above the circular bar. Liquid also features DJ’s every night rocking their jams.
