Defending champions of last years Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships, team Mongolia is back with this years masculine sculpture fight. The concept for this snow sculpture is from the legend; wishing a well life for the people, heroes wipe out the enemy’s force’s by destroying the 3 headed monster. In this sculpture the artist aimed to show the strive of life. This team is known for their attention to detail and dynamic use of alignment that will be sure to dazzle the crowd again this year! About Team Mongolia
Team Captain of Mongolia is Batmunkh Tserendash other members include Altanbayar Odgerel, Govisaikhan Bayanmunkh, and new to the team this year, Chantsaldom Lkhaasuren.
Team Mongolia started sculpting back in 2005 where they won first place at the Art Meets Ice Competition in Finland. Since then the team has been busy placing high in many international competitions including one 3rd place prize, six 2nd place prizes and three 1st place prizes, not to mention getting off to a great start here in Breckenridge last year where not only did they win first place they also went home with Artist’s and People’s Choice Awards! The team has proven themselves, and we can’t wait to see what they can do again this year.
