The Breckenridge Festival of Film returns this weekend, for a Fall Season debut, after years of kicking off summer as a June event. Celebrating 33 years, the event is the longest-running festival in Colorado history. With more than 50 films, chosen from almost 200 entries, the festival has something for everyone, from feature-length dramas to independent films and, new this year, adventure film shorts.
With the first snow on the peaks this morning, and the colder air starting to blow in, it feels appropriate that the festival has some new Adventure Reel films in the lineup this weekend. The Adventure Reel film screening runs from 7:30-10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge, priced at just $10, which culminates with voting for the coveted People”s Choice Award for best Adventure Film.
