It happens every year. Men of all ages put down their razors for the month of March in an effort to prove their facial hair has what it takes to take home the glory for the annual Mustache Bash at Kenosha Steakhouse. The yearly event put on by radio station KSMT “The Mountain” attracts all sorts of characters, and the fact that it’s traditionally held on April Fool’s Day only adds to the ridiculousness. With a Grand Prize of $500 cash, the competition is usually pretty fierce and this year was no exception. The best part about the event is that it’s all a fundraiser for Advocated for Victims of Assault, a wonderful Summit County non-profit that helps local families in need.
