Our authentic, rockin’ little mountain town (with a backyard that happens to be a world-class ski resort) is home to all the goods this March. From daily après parties, ski/board lessons, to shopping, dining, dancing, catching a world-class DJ, and much, much more… this week is going to be ON! United we Pride, you with us? See you in March!”

March 10 – The 5 Peaks

So you’ve skied all the Peaks of Breckenridge in one day, gotten an EpicMix Pin and bragging rights. Now imagine climbing each one – before you ski down. In its fourth season, the Five Peaks race is part of the rising popularity of ski mountaineering. Known as America’s longest ski mountaineering race, teams of two compete in the short and long courses, skinning, boot packing and skiing over the high-elevation peaks of the Ten Mile Range.

March 10 – ROYAL FLUSH!

The Breck Ski & Snowboard School will host the annual BAM (Breck All Mountain) Big Mountain Competition on Peak 8. This event has been a perennial favorite for our Breck All Mountain students, where they get the chance to showcase their skills in an intro level competition atmosphere with the perfect setting of Contest Bowl.

This is a big mountain style event in Contest Bowl where competitors are judged on style, fluidity and line choice.

March 17  – St. Patrick’s Day

St. Paddy’s Day is on a Saturday this year which means there will be St. Patrick’s Day celebrations all weekend long!  Plan to wear green on the mountain and keep an eye out for food and drink specials around town.  Looking to burn a few calories before indulging in some green beer? Don’t miss the St. Patrick’s Day 5K.

March 17-18 – HELLY HANSEN BIG MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE

This IFSA sanctioned event features Peak 6 – Breck’s newest terrain.

The Sixth Senses area of Peak 6 features steep lines, tight chutes, and big cliff drops. This event will test some of the best big mountain Freeskiers in the country as they compete for points in the IFSA series.

April 1 – Easter

Ski bunnies of the world move over! For one day this season, there’s a new bunny on the slope, and this one’s carrying baskets of family fun. Join us in Breckenridge for a Sunrise Easter service at Tenmile Station and other Easter festivities around town.

The faster you go, the more likely you’ll reach the end but there’s always the consequence of taking the plunge
