1. Try Your Luck, Adopt A Duck At The Great Rubber Duck Race

Buy a duck (or a dozen) then watch as over 10,000 rubber ducks race down the Blue River! Pick your favorite viewing location between Maggie Pond and Blue River Plaza to watch the ducks dodge obstacles, escape currents and race to finish line at Blue River Plaza.  This crowd favorite Labor Day race is also a community fundraiser for The Summit Foundation so each duck sale helps a great cause and puts on a great show! FREE family activities begin at 10:00 am at Blue River Plaza in Breckenridge… bounce houses, human hamster balls, a community mural, and a toddler zone!

2. Treat Yourself At The Breckenridge Sidewalk Sale

Discover everything Breckenridge has to offer with over 200 Unique Shops – from the gear shops to art galleries.  Pick up summer clearance items including bikes, technical outerwear, cute ladies’ dresses and handmade kids’ clothing from more than 74 participating merchants.

When: Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 4

3. PAW-Ty With Your Pup At The Rec Center Pool PAW-ty

Don’t miss this chance for your dog to hop in the pool — on purpose! Bring your fur babies to a pool paw-ty just for them! Choose from 3 sessions — 11:00am-12:30, 1:00-2:30pm and 3:00-4:30pm. Cost is $10 per dog due with registration. Proof of vaccination is required at the door the day of the event. Only 30 dogs are allowed per session, so sign up early for this popular event! One pet per reservation.

4. Get Cultured At An Art Festival

The 42nd Annual Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival is nationally ranked at #64 in the top 200 of fine art shows in the United States. The tradition continues over Labor Day Weekend and will feature over 100 artists with a wide range of mediums including photography, wood, g

lass, jewelry, and pottery just to name a few. Located on Main Street at Wellington, this show is a highlight of Labor Day festivities in Breckenridge.
