It’s day four and that means there’s only one more! One more day of sculpting, that is! There’s still plenty of viewing days, as the sculptures will be on display through Feb. 2, 2104, weather permitting. All of the teams have made fantastic progress and it’s hard to say which will be the winners tomorrow, as they all look fabulous. Personally, I’m thinking it could be a 15-way tie!
Tonight the artists are allowed to work all through the night to perfect their sculptures. We had a chance to catch up with Team Breckenridge, and find out their plans for final touches. We won’t give away their sculpture’s theme (you can watch the video to find that out) but we will say their final touches involve snowflakes. And to create those snowflakes they plan to use cookie cutters. Very creative and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
If you’d like to see how this all turns out for yourself, come on up to Breckenridge! You can come this weekend and all next week. Make sure to check the sculptures out at night when they are illuminated in color. It’s a stunning sight you won’t want to miss. Visit http://www.gobreck.com for lodging and event information.
