In case you didn’t realize it, spring time in Breck is the best. We put together a video for you, along with our top 11 reasons why you can’t miss spring in Breckenridge:

11. The Sunshine

300 days of sunshine on average every year. But, who’s counting?

10. Spring skiing attire

It wouldn’t be spring skiing without the warm temperatures and the wacky outfits from bikinis to full-on costumes. You’ll see it all.

9. Slush turns

Ever heard the term mashed potato snow? You will if you visit in the spring. Dig in and get a heaping serving of slush turns and mashed potato snow once the temperatures warm up, esp

lunch turns with a hooligan crew. @mdorak @red_hawk_tattoo_studio #breckbecause #spring

8. Park Laps all day

Bring your game. Because everyone else does.

7. Big Dumps

It’s true. March and April are two of the snowiest months of the year. It’s not uncommon to be skiing waist-deep pow one day and slush bumps the next.

It never gets old saying this….. #breckenridge #breckbecause #powder #snow #powday #brecklife #cowx @weatherchannel

6. Powder Turns

It’s true. You can still ski and ride powder in March and April. In fact, a few closing days in Breck’s history have been full-on powder days. Talk about ending the season with a bang.

5. Beer Festivals

The Breck Beer Festival happens every spring. This year (2017), it’ll be held in Main Street Station at the base of Peak 9. Cheers to that.

4. Music around town

The concerts on Peak 8 may be gone, but Breckenridge still rocks — with everything from big names like Donavon Frankenreiter to open mic Mondays.
